**AIM:** Find out the appropriate surface average density for the given gravity profile using Nettleton method and describe the methodology briefly.

**Nettleton method**

This method is used for determining density of material under hill.In this we compare the shape of bouguer gravity anomaly with the shapre of topography along profile. This Method makes use of combined elevation correction and terrain correction which are density dependent

**PLOTTING TOPOGRAPHY CURVE**

### Trying different rho value from 2g/cc to 3g/cc

I observe minimum correlation for density values between **2.4g/cc and 2.59g/cc**. Plotting to get the density for minimum correlation with topography

** RESULT**

In the last plot, minimum correlation with topography curve is observed for **2.499g/cc**.
Therefore,rho should be taken as 2.499g/cc for bouger slab in bouguer correction.
