👋 The village of Dolceacqua

The beautiful medieval village of Italy that looks like a movie set.

Italy, apart from its wonderful and famous cities known all over the world, also has wonderful villages, medieval settlements with unique architectural elements and traditional buildings that impress every visitor.

A typical example is the village of Dolceacqua, which looks like a fake, as if it were made for a period film set! It is located in western Liguria and apart from all its beauties, its trademark is the bridge over the river Nervia and the Doria Castle.

Cobbled streets, traditional houses and stone-built churches, corners out of a fairy tale and aura of the past embrace Dolceacqua which is an excellent medieval example of the country.

The inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture, primarily growing grapes, while its wines are renowned both within and outside the borders. Its well-hidden beauty has been captured by photographers, making the village resemble a postcard!
