The main objective of the simulations performed was to get a better understanding of the software tools at hand which will be used for analyzing date. To do this simulations were performed in both TinkerCad and LTspice, the softwares that will help us to analyze data. This is a fairly straightforward lab that involes gathering data and plotting such data on graphs.
ECLO - 1: Voltage Dividers
In the simulations performed in TinkerCad and Ltspice alike, voltage dividers were created and simulated. A voltage divider involves creating a circuit that conssits of two resistors inline and therfore reduces the voltage a precise amount. This is useful in many applications where a specif voltage is needed. Voltage drops occur between the two resistors and due to Kirchoff's Volatage Law, we know the amount of voltage drops is equal to the total voltage supplied in the circuit. The simulations performed allowed specific voltages to be measured due to the circuit involved having a voltage divider and photo resistor.
