List of Substances Detected At UNC
This Live Report identifies substances identified in street drug samples analyzed at UNC Street Drug Analysis Lab. Substances are reported in any (primary or trace) and primary-only abundance. Column called total is the number of samples that contained the substance in either primary or trace abundance since we started in 2022. Column named primary is the count of samples where the substance was found in primary abundance only. Primary/trace designation is based on relative peak height on the chromatogram. Data are updated hourly.
You can sort or filter the table below by clicking column headers or using the column filters. For example, sort latest_date descending to see most recent detections, or sort total descending for the most common substances.
NC Sample Volume Over Time
Programs send us samples voluntarily. Some months we get more samples than others, and some programs consistently send more samples than others. For the sake of transparency, this graph provides a rough sense of our NC quarterly sample volume. The most recent quarter may fewer not represent 3 full months.
