We're excited to introduce AI editing capabilities to the file editor, bringing a powerful new way to create and modify your Python files. Check out this short video to see it in action:

Need to create or modify a Streamlit app? Simply click the AI button in the upper right corner of the file editor and describe what you want. Our AI assistant will generate or edit the entire file, which you can review in a convenient diff view. Once you're satisfied with the suggested changes, just accept them and watch your Streamlit preview update immediately with your new code.

Not satisfied with the results? No problem - iterate with follow-up prompts until it's perfect! Just like in notebooks, the AI understands your project context to provide relevant assistance.
